Physical Description: Hermione has brown, extremely bushy hair and brown eyes. Her front teeth used to be excessively large, but she had them magically shrunk in 4th year after Malfoy hit her with an enlargement spell.
Familiar: Crookshanks a part Knealze / part cat (presumably a domestic breed), with ginger coloured fur. A Persian breed of cat was used in the film. Shanks is British slang for legs, his name implies he has crooked legs. In the books he described as having short legs. Wand: Vine wood with a dragon heartstring core. Patronus: Otter Hogwarts House: Gryffindor (1991-1998) Career: During Hogwarts she was undecided about her furture carrer. After Voldemort was killed, she worked for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures where she improved the quality of life for mistreated magical creatures. Later working for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement putting an end to pro-pureblood laws. Friends: Harry Potter and Ron Weasely Acquaintances: Ginny Weasley and Neville Longbottom (tutors him in Potions). Hermione doesn't appear to dislike anyone, other than Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle. But she does mention concern for Draco's wellbeing, once. Relationships: Viktor Krum, a famous Bulgarian Quidditch player and a student at Durmastrang Institute. They met in her fourth year when he was visiting Hogwarts, and they attended the Yule Ball together. Most of the attraction was on Krum’s side, but she did return his affections somewhat and they continued writing to one another through her fifth year. Cormac McLaggen, was her date for Slughorn's party in book six. Marries Ron Weasely in the epilogue. Student Activities: Formed of Dumbledore’s Army in her fifth year, with Harry and Ron - though she was the brains behind it all. In her fourth year, she began S.P.E.W. - The Society for the Protection of Elvish Welfare. She frequently knits hats and socks and leaves them around the school hoping that it will help set some of the house-elves employed at Hogwarts free - though she doesn’t know that none of the elves but Dobby will go anywhere near them. She was also named Gryffindor Prefect in her fifth year and sixth year. Significant Facts:
